In a charming new Marvel Studios promo we see HERBIE the robot a beloved and quirky companion from Fantastic Four lore experience the magic of the movies. Titled HERBIE Goes To The Movies the featurette shows the intelligent robot witnessing himself on the big screen for the first time alongside Marvel’s iconic heroes.
It’s a lighthearted heartwarming look at a fan favorite side character getting his well deserved spotlight. The feature blends humor with heartfelt excitement capturing the spirit of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The Plot: Family vs Cosmic Threats
Set in a bold and colorful reimagining of the 1960s, the film follows the Fantastic Four as they adjust to life in the spotlight after gaining their powers. But things quickly take a dark turn when Galactus, the planet-devouring space god, targets Earth.
Adding to the cosmic chaos is the Silver Surfer Galactus’ mysterious Herald, portrayed by the talented Julia Garner. As the threat escalates the team must rely not just on their powers but on their family bond to protect humanity.
