Minecraft Snapshot 25W33A Brings Heartwarming Golem Interaction, Chat Drafts and Shelf Tweaks

Mojang is in full swing preparing for its big Minecraft Fall update and with each week, new snapshots are giving players a taste of what’s coming. The latest build, Minecraft Snapshot 25W33A, introduces a charming new relationship between iron and copper golems, along with several quality of life improvements for chat and in game shelves.

Iron and Copper Golems Get a Wholesome Upgrade

One of the most delightful additions in this snapshot is the brand new interaction between iron and copper golems. Now, iron golems can place a decorative flower on nearby copper golems. The flower remains in place until the copper golem eventually freezes into a statue. If you’d rather not keep the flower, you can remove it at any time with a pair of shears. Similarly, the flower will fall naturally when the copper golem turns into its statue form. This change doesn’t affect gameplay balance it’s purely decorative but it adds a touch of personality and life to the world of Minecraft.

Chat Drafts to Save Your Unsent Messages

Another useful quality of life feature in Snapshot 25W33A is chat drafts. Now, if your chat box closes unexpectedly say, you die in game or a dialogue window opens your unsent message will be saved as a draft. These drafts appear as grayed-out text and can be recovered by typing more text, selecting the existing text or moving the cursor to the right. However, if you intentionally close the chat box, the message won’t be saved.

Shelf Updates and Visual Tweaks

The in game shelves have also received adjustments. Items placed on shelves will now be centered by default, with updated sizing for a more polished look. This makes shelves feel neater and more visually appealing in builds. The End dimension now features a purple flash of light (coming soon to Java Edition). While teleporting to the Nether, you can keep your chat window open to continue messaging other players. Players on your current server will now always appear in the Social Interactions screen. With Minecraft Snapshot 25W33A, Mojang is showing that it’s not just focused on big features it’s also polishing small details that make the game world feel alive and player interactions smoother. From the heartwarming golem flower moment to the handy chat drafts and cleaner shelves, this update packs plenty of charm.
