Days Gone Remastered Update July 2025 Brings Stability and Performance Fixes

Bend Studio continues its post launch support with a fresh patch for both PS5 and PC players. The remastered version of Days Gone has just received its July 2025 update marking the fifth patch since the game’s launch in April. Titled Patch 1.036.178 on PlayStation 5 and Patch 1.13 on PC the new update introduces several key improvements focused on crash fixes, performance and localization.

What’s New in the July 2025 Update?

Although relatively minor in scale the July patch plays an important role in refining the overall gameplay experience. Here’s what’s included:
Patch Notes (v1.13 / v1.036.178)
Fixed various in-game crashes.
Improved world streaming performance, especially during high intensity sequences. Improved translations enhance localization across all supported languages, helping to address persistent issues players have faced since launch especially during large-scale battles and while navigating the open world.

A Refined Experience on Playstation and PC

Gone Remastered brought Deacon St. John’s gritty survival journey back to the spotlight with enhanced graphics faster load times and new gameplay features like the Horde Assault mode. Released alongside the Broken Road DLC on PC the remaster breathed new life into the 2019 PS4 original.
Since release Days Gone Remastered has received consistent post launch updates across platforms. Two patches were deployed in both May and June with the latest arriving nearly a month after the last major update on June 24.

Bend Studio’s Ongoing Commitment

Despite recent challenges including a 30% reduction in staff on June 10 Bend Studio has maintained a steady flow of improvements for the remastered title. The development team continues to show dedication to supporting Days Gone Remastered while quietly working on a brand-new project following the cancellation of their planned live service game earlier this year.
